Time Stamping
Strong evidence for data authentication
  Desktop Software
e-TimeStamp® and optionally sign your data files

An e-TimeStamp gives you strong legal evidence that the contents of any computer file existed at a point-in-time and that the contents have not changed since that time. Consider this a type of notary service - only updated to become a digital notary. Any file on your computer can be time stamped, regardless of its content.

Inexpensive to operate
Confidential because your data never leaves your computer
Quick and easy to get started

Choose your Desktop software

Individual users will probably do best to use the DigiStamp software, unless you’re already using Adobe Acrobat or a similar digital signature program. Here is a list of other alternatives. We also offer a simple browser interface.
Organizations or IT experts may prefer to integrate TimeStamping into your existing system, either through your current digital signature program or with our Developers’ Toolkit

Create an Account
The software that runs on your computer contacts the DigiStamp web-based security service when you create a time stamp of your data. Setup an account to track your usage. The cost is 40 cents for a time stamp certificate.

Features:

Amazingly easy to use and it applies to all types of documents and computer files - contracts, drawings, etc. No IT staff is needed to install, and the software provides a browser-like interface. You can start today.

The software automates your paper-based process to save time, paper, and money. Features include document comparison, multiple signatures, signature comments and standard qualifiers (such as Approve, Receipt, Originate). Enables a multi-step workflow.

Desktop software or developer toolkits create custom solutions to authenticate your data. No cost for the software and each time stamp is 40 cents or less.

Technology is based on the International standards for reliability and regulatory requirements (e-Sign, UETA, CFR 11, RFC3161, etc.). Each signature is witnessed by a third-party time authority, like an electronic notary providing external evidence.

When creating a digital signature, your signing certificate can be from any certificate authority or use your internal corporate certificates.

Internet-based time stamp service
See the description of our certified hardware and the audit process; the DigiStamp approach removes all possible human tampering from the process and puts the trust into audited, NIST-certified hardware. Redundant, geographically separated server locations are provided to ensure continual access to DigiStamp’s service - when time is of the essence.
